Abstract

Application of photo-aryl coupling reactions for the syntheses of triphenylene and dibenzo [fg, op] naphthacene was explored. Three types of reactions were developed: Photocyclodehydrogenation of polyphenyl compounds, photolytic reactions of iodoarenes, and photocyclodehydrohalogenation of halogenopolyaryls.
