Abstract

Dimethylamine, dipropylamine, dibutylamine and inorpholine were used. This reaction is analogous to that of ammonia or amines with acrylic esters2 and with acrylonitrile. The reactions proceed readily in alcohol solution at room temperature, giving good yields of the products. We used Morsch's method to prepare several N, N-dialkyl-/3- dialkylamiiiopropionamides
