Abstract

Abstract I simple stereoselective synthesis of (Z)-7-octadecen-1-yl isovalerate (I), a sex pheromone of Euproctis similis xanthocampa has been achieved trough an unambiguous route. The isovalerate type of sex pheromones was discovered in Limantxiidase for the first time.
