Abstract: We measured solid-state I3C NMR chemical shifts for the enol forms of seven 1, 3- diketones, which are intermolecularly hydrogen-bonded in the solid state: dimedone (la), 2- methyldimedone (2a), 1, 3-~ yclohexanedione (3a), 2-methyl-1, 3-cyclohexanedione (4a), 2- phenylmalondialdehyde (5a), 2-(4'-methylphenyl) malondialdehyde (6a), and 2-(4'- methoxypheny1) malondialdehyde (7a).
