Abstract

Reactions of dialkylamino (methy1) magnesium compounds, CH3MgNR2 (where NR2= Ni- Prn, NPhp, and NCSHsMez), and aryloxy (methy1) magnesium compounds, CH3MgOR (where OR= 0-2, 6-i-Pr2C6H3 and 0-2, 6-t-Bu2-4-MeC&), with cyclic ketones such as 4-tert- butylcyclohexanone and 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethyl-4-tert-butylcyclohexanone have been studied.
