Abstract

The PdCl 2 -catalyzed cyclization of α-alkoxy dienones leads to 2-hydroxycyclopentenones, whereas the Pd(OAc) 2 -catalyzed reaction leads to cross-conjugated cyclopentenones through an oxidative process. ...
