Abstract
4-(N-But y lN-met hylamino)-l-(m-hydroxypheny1) cyclohexan-1-one Ethylene Ketal (15b). Using the above three-step procedure and CH3 (CHz) zCOC1 as the acid chloride, there was obtained 15b (51%), mp 209-211 “C, identical in all respects (IR, NMR, and TLC) with a sample prepared by the aminonitrile method.
