Abstract

Abstract: The 2-, 3-and 4-substituted as well as bicyclic nonaflates 19-27 were prepared by treating the corresponding cyclobutanones with nonafluorobutanesulfonic acid anhydride in the presence of 2, 6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylpyridine as the buffer. Some of the substituted cyclobutanones were prepared by slight modification of the reported procedures.
