Abstract
Results Kinetic data were obtained by following the rate of disappearance of the peroxides by glc and the results are given in Table I. Tertiary alkyl peroxides are not highly susceptible to induced decomposition in most s~ lvents, j-~ but in order to suppress this potential reaction 2, 6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol or styrene were used as radical traps.
