Abstract

1884 I.-C. Kwon, Y. К. Koh, J.-H. Choi, and H.-S. Kim Vol. 33 lH and 13C nmr spectra. The signals of the protons and car- bons of the methylene units are shown to have the follow- ing order: Sa>5ß>&y>55 because of the anisotropic effect of the thiazole ring. The mass spectrum of 7 showed the mole- cular ion at 496 (9% relative abundance) and its fragmenta- tion is in accordance with the assigned structure.
