Abstract
Biphenyltetrazoles are recognized privileged structures. Among them, the therapeutically important class of sartans displays antagonistic activity on AT1 receptors. We have developed a method for anchoring tetrazole derivatives via the heterocycle on a hydroxylated resin using zinc triflate.
