Abstract

Fluorination of electron rich aromatic systems with electrophilic fluorination reagents such as Selectfluor® and Accufluor® is a well-established process. Herein we report results from investigations into the use of such procedures to perform rapid, small-scale fluorinations under microwave irradiation.
