Abstract

Abstract Thieno [2, 3-b] pyridine derivatives, functionalized on the thiophene ring have been synthesized in two different ways: electrophilic substitution of thieno [2, 3-b] pyridine derivatives or construction of a pyridine ring starting from disubstituted thiophene compounds. The products obtained were used in the synthesis of chiral NADH models.
