Abstract
In this paper, we report the first metal-catalyzed, highly selective, and efficient mono- oxidation of bidentate phosphines to bis-phosphine monoxides (BPMOs) of the general formula R2P-(O)-Y-PR2, where Y is a divalent bridging group.
