Abstract Recombinant human abacavir monophosphate deaminase (hABC-MP deaminase) was compared with the recently described rat N 6-methyl-AMP (meAMP) aminohydrolase. hABC-MP deaminase, a 42 kDa polypeptide, exists predominantly as a monomer under non- denaturing conditions.
