Abstract

23 H-24-on previous considerations, 7 as was the use of a 3: l molar ratio of sodium borohydride to NiC1~-6Hz0.* Typically, reactions were performed at 0 OC for 15 min in an open vessel without protection from the atmosphere, by addition of the sodium borohydride in small portions to a solution of the organosulfur compound and NiC12* 6H20 in the above solvent. 1 The substrates are shown in Chart I, and the results are summarized in Table I. ...
