Abstract

Dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]thiophene (DTT) 1 has found use in materials for electronic and optical applications. Optical phenomena such as two-photon absorption, 1. and 2. electro-luminescence, 3. and 4. photochromism, 5 and two-photon excited fluorescence 6 in DTT-based materials have been investigated.
