Abstract
Calcium fluorescent probes have been the focus of biological and chemical researches for a long time owing to the vital role of calcium in various cellular processes. Since the Ca 2+ chelator BAPTA was prepared by Tsien in 1980, 1 numerous BAPTA derivates have been synthesized and used as calcium probes.
