Abstract

A rapid repetitive solution-phase synthesis of peptides is described. The procedure involves coupling of amino acids and peptide acids, instead of the usual amino esters and peptide esters, to slight excesses of pentafluorophenyl active esters in a THF/water solvent mixture.
