Abstract
Seyferth and co-workers8 prepared trifluorovinyllithium by treating triphenyl (triflvoroviny1) tin with phenyllithium. Their primary objective was the determination of differences in the behavior of organometallic compounds and their synthesis of the lithium reagent is not a good preparative method.
