Abstract

Abstract Heteropoly acid supported on silica gel (H 3 PW 12 O 40/SiO 2) is easily used as a heterogonous, reusable and efficient catalyst for the synthesis of N-substituted, 2-and 3- unsubstituted pyrroles in solution or under solvent-free microwave irradiation. The catalyst can be easily recovered and reused for several times without loss of activity.
