Abstract
In the 1 H NMR spectrum, 1a displayed a singlet for the methylene protons at δ = 5.30 ppm in addition to the aromatic protons and in the 13 C NMR spectrum the methylene carbon and carbonyl carbons appeared at δ = 72.1 ppm and δ = 183.1 ppm, respectively, in addition to the aromatic carbons.
