Abstract

Abstract A variety of 4-substituted 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethylpiperidyl-1-oxy (TEMPO) derivatives has been screened for their ability in the oxidation of primary alcohols to the aldehydes with dioxygen under mild conditions.
