Abstract

A series of binuclear gold (I) complexes were synthesized. Their structures were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectrometry, UV–Vis spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Their fluorescent mechanochromic (tribochromic) properties were investigated.
