Abstract
pNitrc-and pcyanoneophyl brosylates were synthesized and their acetolysis rates were determined. The acetolysis of the nitro brosylate proceeds with 72.2% phenyl rearrangement and 25.47, methyl rearrangement forming four kinds of olefins@, p-dimethyl-pnitrostyrene, a, p-dimethyl-pnitrostyrene, a-ethyl-pnitrostyrene, and% methyl-3-(pnitrophenyl) prop-l-ene) and three kinds of acetates (p-nitroneophyl acetate, dimethylpnitrobensylcarbinyl acetate, ...
