Abstract Amino acid and dipeptide-functionalized gold nanoparticles (NPs) possessing L/D- leucine and/or L/D-phenylalanine residues have been constructed in order to target the surfaces of α-chymotrypsin (ChT) and cytochrome c (CytC).
