Abstract
A representative example of the procedure for the preparation of alkylcyclopropanes from l- alkynes is as follows. To 75 mmol of l-hexyne in 15 ml of n-hexane was added 75 mmol of diisobutylaluminum hydride, while maintaining the temperature during the addition at 25- 30".
