Abstract
Development of catalysts for the selective hydroxylation of inert CÀH bonds is an important research objective.[1–4] Significant progress toward this goal has been made in recent decades by using biologically inspired iron catalysts and hydrogen peroxide.[5–11] H2O2 is the most ideal oxidant from an atom-economy viewpoint, however, it is generally difficult to use as an oxidant for iron-catalyzed selective oxidations because it easily decomposes to ...
