Abstract
Abstract A source of regiospecifically di-deuterated cyclic dialkyl peroxides, free of alcohol or ketone impurities, was required for studies of a series of•(CH2) radical thermolysis products. 1 We report herein a procedure for preparation of the series of ROOR compounds, where R= dicyclopentyl (1), R= dicyclohexyl (2), and R= dicycloheptyl peroxide (3). To our knowledge, syntheses of 2 and 3 have not been reported.
