Abstract
Abstract Dicyandiamide was found to undergo a four electron reduction at a mercury cathode at− 1.05 v (SCE) although no distinct polarographic wave was obtained. At a palladium black cathode, dicyandiamide was reduced at− 0.10 v (SCE) with 100% current efficiency to give the dihydro compound.
