Abstract

2, 4-Dinitrophenyldiacetylmethane (I) and bis-(2, 4-dinitrophenyl)-diacetglmethane (11) have been obtained by the interaction of l-chloro-2, 4-dinitrobenzene and acetylacetone and characterized.
