Abstract
N-(Nicotinoyl)-6-aminohexanoic Acid (IV). A lg portion of nicotinic ch! oroanhydride chlorohydrate was added in small doses to a solution of 0.96 g of 6-aminchexanoic acid and 0.74 g of NaOH in i0 ml of water at 0-5~ After the entire! g was added, the mixture was allowed to air-warm, with stirring, to 20~ after which 20 ml of water were added.
