Abstract

Two new dibenzofulvene functionalized rhenium chromophore of the form fac-[Re (bpy)(CO) 3 (L)] PF6 (bpy= 2, 2′-bipyridine) are reported, where L is a pyridine functionalized in para or meta position with a dibenzofulvene moiety. Results show interesting features of increased delocalization of the fulvene ligand into the rhenium core for one of the complexes.
