Abstract
The hydroarylation of olefins is a valuable CÀC bond forming reaction used to produce alkyl arenes.[1] Olefin hydroarylation can be catalyzed by Lewis acids, but such reactions proceed through a Friedel–Crafts type mechanism involving an intermediary carbocation.
