Abstract

A general protocol for the catalytic homo-Nazarov cyclization of cyclopropyl heteroaryl ketones has been developed, which employs indium triflate as the promoter. A range of heteroaromatic ring-fused cyclohexanones was synthesized in 56− 91% yield using this protocol.
