Abstract

Unsymmetrical diacetylenic compounds were obtained by the method of Kadio and Khodkevich [7]. When the hydroxamic acids (II) and (liD, having a terminal triple bond, were used in the Kadio--Khodkevich reaction, they were found to form insoluble copper complexes, which failed to react with the other component under the reaction conditions.
