Abstract
2-Halogenobenzothiazoles undergo CC cross-coupling reaction with Grignard reagents in the presence of Ni (II)-phosphine complexes. The reaction is considerably influenced by the nature of the phosphine bonded to Ni (II) and the halogen in the halogenobenzothiazole.
