Abstract

The ields given in the table were estimated by NMR integration; the product was isolated in. each case, except where noted. 3: No yield could be determined because of the use of an excess amount of starting aldehyde. Even though this reaction was not repeated, the ketone was isolated. Based on the isolated product. the course of this reaction are far from being well-understood. 4
