Abstract

Halogenated and alkylated N-arylcyanothioformanilides were reacted with the nucleophilic reagents triethylamine, hydrazine and diphenyldiazomethane to produce N- arylcyanothioformanilide ammonium salts, a thiosemicarbazide and a 2-(arylamino)-3, 3- diphenylacrylonitrile, respectively.
