Abstract Homoallylic alcohols can be prepared in water by allyl-, crotyl-, 1-methylallyl-, cyclohex-2-enyl-, or cinnamyl-stannation of such carbonyl compounds as aldehydes, dialdehydes, and ketones, as well as acetals.
