Abstract

In the presence of Pd2 (dba) 3-Cy3P catalyst, IPr· HCl salt [IPr= 1, 3-bis (2, 6- diisopropylphenyl) imidazol-2-ylidene], and Cs2CO3, N-propargylamides react with allyl carbonates to give 2, 5-disubstituted oxazoles having homoallyl groups through the tandem cycloisomerization–allylation.
