Abstract
Results The results of a series of reactions between functionalized methyl and ethyl esters 1 and 2.5 equiv PMHS (monomer weight= 60) in the presence of varying amounts of Ti (OiPrI4 are presented in Table 1 (see Scheme 1). These reactions were carried out simply by mixing together the neat reagents in an ordinary test tube open to the ambient atmosphere; only a calcium sulfate drying tube was used to exclude atmospheric moisture.
