Abstract

The synthesis of a new extended π-conjugated 5-N, N-dimethylaminonaphthyl family was undertaken by palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between a protected 5- iodonaphthylethynyl and 1-ethynyl-5-(N, N-dimethylamino) naphthalene.
