Abstract

Nontoxic ortho-carbaborane is one of the most promising structure for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). For directed uptake of ortho-carbaborane by tumor cells, receptor-subtype selective neuropeptide Y (NPY) and its derivatives were modified with ortho-carbaborane.
