Abstract
A general synthesis of 3-pyrrolyl sulfides was developed on the basis of the triphenylphosphine-iodine-sodium iodide reduction of the sulfoxides, which in turn were obtained by the acid-mediated rearrangement of the corresponding 2-sulfinylpyrroles.
