Abstract

Highly active immobilized ruthenium catalysts, which can be used for oxidation of alcohols and sulfides, were developed on the basis of the polymer-micelle incarcerated (PMI) method. The catalysts could be recovered and reused several times without loss of activity and no metal leaching was observed.
