Abstract

The chemoselective capabilities of porcine pancreatic lipase (PPL) in tetrahydrofuran andCandida rugosalipase (CRL) in diisopropyl ether have been investigated for selective acetylation and deacetylation of hydroxymethylated phenols and hydroxyaryl alkyl ketones and their peracetylated derivatives.
