Abstract

In this article structures, syntheses, and reactions of c-x_vphos-phoranes are discussed. The reactions of phosphorus (llll deriva-tives with carbonyl compounds which result in isolable I'(5) and P! 4) products are described. Emphasis is placed on the chemical behaviour of 2, 2, 2-trialkoxy-2, 2-dihydro-l, 3, 2~ dioxaphospholenes and-phospholanes and other cyclic oxyphosphoranes. I. Structure of Oxyphosphoranes 2.
