Abstract

Results The benzoyl isocyanide trimer has been shown to be 7-benzoylimino-2, 5- diphenyloxazolo [5, 4-d][1, 3] oxazine (2) on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. The mass spectrum of the trimer afforded a molecular ion at m/e 393 consistent with (PhC0NC) a. The nmr spectrum indicated the presence of aromatic hydrogens only.
