Abstract
Abstract An efficient and facile synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives in excellent isolated yields by the condensation of 1, 2-diamines and 1, 2-diketones on grinding under solvent- free conditions at ambient temperature has been developed. The important features of this method are that it is reasonably fast, very clean, high yielding, simple workup, and environmentally benign. J. Heterocyclic Chem., 00, 00 (2011).
